The change of the name took effect from January 1st, 2007.This move is being realized in connection with the change of the company’s shareholder’s structure, which occurred in May 2004 and our company became a member of the Železiarne Podbrezová Group – Železiarne Podbrezová produces steel tubes.

All the other company’s attributes as manufacturing programme, organizational structure, possession and know-how, identification data and the head office don’t change.

Neither the management nor the contact persons change. All phone and fax numbers remain in force. Only the e-mail address changed from the current e-mail surname@skoda-ts.cz into surname@tsplzen.cz.

AREVA’s COO, Philippe Knoche (on the right in the photo), and Václav Smazal, CEO of TS Plzeň (on the left) signed a strategic contract for the supply of a new forging press CKV 9000 and a 200-ton manipulator for AREVA’s Le Creusot manufacturing plant, in Burgundy, France.

The signature ceremony took place in Plzeň on February 15, 2012 in the presence of Mr. Pierre Lévy, French Ambassador in Czech Republic (at the back and on the left), Mr. Martin Zrzavecký, Vice-Mayor of the city Plzeň (at the back and on the right), Prof. Josef Basl, Vice-Chancellor of West Bohemian University in Plzeň and other representatives of both companies.
